Privacy Policy
This policy explains what WLODigital LLC ("we") collects when you use StoryInkling at www.storyinkling.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. What we collect
- Account information: your email address, and the date you agreed to our Terms and this policy.
- Your writing: brainstorms, plans, chapters, manuscripts you upload, cover choices, and the files the Service creates for you.
- Usage information: which features you use, credits used and purchased, and technical records such as the time of a request, needed to run and secure the Service.
- Marketing preference: whether you asked to receive our self-publishing guide, offers, courses, and news.
- Payment information (when paid plans open) is handled by our payment processor; we do not store your full card number.
2. How we use it
- To provide the Service: sign you in, store your books, run the AI features you choose, and keep track of credits.
- To send account and service emails, such as sign-in links, credit and billing notices, and important changes to the Service. These are part of using the Service.
- If you opted in, to send you our free self-publishing guide, coupons, courses, and offers from StoryInkling and related products. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in those emails.
- To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse, and to improve it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your writing to train AI models.
3. Services that process your information
To run StoryInkling we use these providers, which process information on our behalf:
- Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI: AI writing, reviewing, and cover art. Your writing is sent to them to produce results for you.
- Supabase: account sign-in and database storage.
- Railway: hosting the application.
- Resend: sending email.

4. How long we keep it
We keep your account and writing while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account information and writing within [30] days, except where we must keep records (for example, payment records) by law.
5. Your choices and rights
You can update your marketing choice at any time by unsubscribing. You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete your account by emailing hello@storyinkling.com. 6. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls. No system is perfectly secure.
7. Children
StoryInkling is not intended for children under 13, and accounts require users to be 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. When we make an important change, we will ask you to review it.
